Gymboraddicts Anonymous

Hi, my name is Erin, and I am addicted to shopping at Gymboree. It all started around 2007 when I gave birth to a little girl. I wandered in there during one of their "sales," and wandered out over $100 later with a dazed look on my face.

What in the world just happened to me? I spent more money on some clothing items for my child than I would normally spend on myself!

CIMG1242I thought I had kicked the habit about 6 months ago. And then I walked in there last week. Oh. My. Gosh. The cuteness astounds me. Everything is all beautiful springy colors and pleats and ruffles...how I could I not be addicted?

I did end up taking some back to the store today that was just too big and discovered that they are having a GINORMOUS sale on everything....including NEW Easter and spring styles.

Oy vey, I am going to need to go to rehab I think!

LOL! I'm not even a mom yet, and I should join your support group. I have two nieces, a nephew, and several "adopted" nieces and nephews (friends' babies), so I cannot keep myself out of that store. It's like a Siren calling to me whenever I walk by. But look at how adorable your daughter looks! Totally worth it. :)

Don't you dare tell me how great the clothing in that store is right now! I have $25 in Gym Bucks in my wallet, and I'm trying to convince myself I cannot-- should not-- buy any more than necessary to get the discount.

They have the CUTEST girls stuff in there!

And their halloween costumes are the BEST! We have the giraffe ones from there from a few years ago and they are the cutest things ever. Also a fuzzy blue monster, a knight, and a lion. But, the giraffe is my fav.

It's a good thing that I don't have a girl. I'm not crazy about their boy clothes...but the girl stuff is adorable!!

I was fortunate that the nearest gymboree (when my daughter was young) was 45 minutes away. Now that she's 15 her shopping addiction is Delias. They have really cute things and many modest items but, YIKES, at a price. We like to hit their sales, though.
