If you read my blog on Friday, you know that we were having Potty Training and Sleep Through the Night Boot Camp here this weekend. I have to say that I was honestly dreading it. I hate messes and I hate it when my children cry. Now that we have reached Sunday evening, it really has not been that bad.
The potty training is going well. The first day was the worst (going through seven pairs of panties and two rolls of paper towels), which is what I have heard to expect. The second day I think she only had one accident and we even managed a trip to Walmart and Sonic. Today has been a little bit messier than yesterday, but she is definitely associating the urge to go with sitting on the potty. My next challenge will come on Tuesday morning when it is time to go to school.
Baby B has had improved sleep each night of the last three nights. The first night was the only night that there was prolonged crying, and we never let her cry by herself. One of us was always right there with her. Last night, she woke up briefly around 2am with a dirty diaper, and then fell back asleep on her own in her bed until around 6 when I finally nursed her (thank you LORD!) She then slept until 9 AM -UNHEARD OF!! So basically she slept 13 hours with one diaper change and one nursing session. I will take that any day and twice on Friday....thankyouverymuch!
I hope all of you have had wonderful weekends. I am hoping to be able to online a bit more this week to read and comment on your blogs.

Awesome! Sounds like great progress!
Good for you! And before you know it, this will all be a distant memory.
I'm glad it went better than expected. I hope things continue to get better for you. Doing potty training and sleep training are two of the hardest things ever!
Yay! So glad things went well. I hope they continue to do so!
Yay Erin! That is awesome!!
Yay honey! It sounds like everything is going wonderfully!! I'm pretty sure we'll be potty training Isabella soon. Dora underwear? Here we come, hehe!
And 9 AM?!?! Were you just out of sorts wondering what to do? Lol!
xoxo & miss you!!
We are about a month and half into potty training and there are still occasional underpants casualties but it gets better. Congratulations on the sleep through the night mission, that one is tough. I did it when my kids were 3 and 4 months and though it was hard it was totally worth it because now they go down at 730pm and sleep till 7am. Aside from the occasional bad dream I get my nights to myself.
It sounds like boot camp is going really well! It used to boggle my mind how my babies could poop in the middle of the night. What's up with that? When they're asleep, aren't their bowels supposed to be asleep too??
Hang in there...you're doing great! Thanks for the follow! I'm following you now too!
