Here in South Carolina, snow is a rare treat. When it does snow, it is usually a dusting or maybe 1-2 inches. Last night we accumulated 8.6" officially, but it was more like 4-5 inches where we live. Holy snowfall!
Miss H had a blast playing in the snow this morning. We do not have snow gear, so she got bundled up in two jackets and socks for mittens. After the first hour of playing, the "mittens" were drenched. So we came inside to warm up with some hot chocolate and redress. The next time out, we put plastic sandwich bags under the socks to keep her hands dry. Whatever works, right?!?
Out in the snow, Miss H said to me, "Mom, God made the snow!" She had fun making tracks and building snowmen. Here are some fun pictures of the snow.

She is so cute! The snow has been CRAZY here! We had over a foot and a half and more is expected Tuesday!

We used socks as mittens, too. My boys have them...somewhere...but probably in storage. They loved playing in the snow.
Wow, you have a gorgeous view out your window! Do you live on a lake? My DH would be sooooo jealous.
We got the tail end of the snow you got-- only about 2-3 inches. The sad thing is, most years, that would be cause for chaos where I live. But this year, we've had so much snow that no one even seemed to notice this time!
I'm excited to find another "Cloud B" fan-- a dolphin? I didn't know they had that version of the sound machine. How cool!

Secretively I wish we had snow. Afterall Utah is know for it's snow. We are totally lacking in the valley this year.
